Natural Resources ProgramWetland

The City is restoring the beauty and ecological health of Gresham's open spaces and natural areas. Projects, often led by skilled AmeriCorps volunteers from across the county, rely on help from resident volunteers and homeowners.

Projects

Natural Areas Restoration

At sites around the city, we're returning degraded natural areas and their ecosystems back to a healthy condition.

Habitat for WildlifeRestoration tools Volunteering

To combat decreased wildlife because of urbanization, we install various wildlife habitat features in both natural areas and encourage you to in your backyard.

Wildlife Surveys

Wildlife surveys help us determine how many and what species of wildlife live in Gresham.

Stream Clean

During Stream Clean each summer, we remove everything from bicycles to refrigerators from waterways.
