Gresham Center for the Arts
Located in the heart of historic downtown Gresham, the Plaza is a showcase for the arts and a place for the community to come together.
The Plaza - A Community Gathering Place
The Plaza is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping at 401 N.E. Second St. Ample parking and great access to public transit make the Plaza easy to get to.
Gresham's new outdoor living room can play host to large community gatherings, private events, or can be a place to eat your lunch while enjoying the incredible view of Mt. Hood. The Plaza also features a special lighting display embedded in the Plaza's pavers that fill the
plaza with light and color daily from dusk to 11 p.m.
The Plaza is programmed with events year-round, but can also play host to your special event. Contact the Center for the Arts Foundation for more information about upcoming Plaza activities or booking the Plaza for your event.
Future Plans for the Plaza
The Plaza design incorporates amenities such as a fountain and art pillars, which will be installed in the future with donations.
The plaza design includes
- Decorative pavers with accent walls
- In-ground light-emitting diodes (LED) lighting

- Four entry art pillars
- Fountain
Gresham Center for the Arts
The City began plans for a Center for the Arts in 2005, on a two-acre parcel donated by the Fourier-Larson family.
The future Gresham Center for the Arts will serve as a performing center and community meeting space. The completed Plaza will complement the overall Center for the Arts design plan with future buildings consisting of an events center and theater.
