Fall Recycling and Shredding Day

Join our Solid Waste and Sustainability team for a free recycling event for Gresham and Wood Village residents. This event will focus on paper shredding and hard-to-recycle plastics. Please bag all like kinds of materials together.

What we’re collecting

• Sensitive documents and papers for shredding and previously shredded paper. Limit two grocery-size paper bags per vehicle. Examples: Credit card and bank statements.
• Plastic bags and stretchy plastic (bagged together). Must be empty and dry. 
• Plastic lids and caps. Must be clean and dry. Examples: Lids from yogurt, salsa, sour cream containers, etc. Caps from bottles. 
• Rigid plastic six-package handles. 
• Plastic buckets and pails. Lids are ok. No containers that held automotive fluids, pesticides, herbicides or hazardous materials. 
• Aluminum foil and trays. Must be empty and dry.

No other materials or large ridged plastics will be accepted.
