Friends of Trees Neighborhood Trees Crew Leader Training

Planting crew leaders are trained volunteers who lead small groups of people to plant trees and have fun at our community planting events. Friends of Trees cannot run these events without the support of this valued position!

Become a crew leader

Trainees can expect to plant different root stocks, learn about tree identification, hone your inclusive leadership skills, and meet the staff you'll be working alongside. Lunch is provided during training, as well as a "Tree Team" tshirt.

What to expect:

• Trainees will need to have completed the online training before they attend this session. You will have two weeks to complete it before this in-person training.
• After your training, we expect you to help lead a crew at four Saturday morning events October-April (select for events that fit your schedule).

Learn more about becoming a crew leader and register. Space is limited.
