Nadaka Nature Park Planting

Come help Friends of Trees and the City of Gresham improve habitat and recreation at Nadaka Nature Park, an important place of rest and community gathering space in Gresham! We are returning to this long-standing Friends of Trees site to continue replacing weedy plants like English Ivy with native shrubs and trees to create a flourishing urban habitat.

Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and be assigned a planting crew. The planting starts at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and planting guidance, as well as breakfast snacks and coffee/tea/hot chocolate - all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather wearing sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots, and be ready to have fun! Family-friendly costumes (no gore/inappropriate images) are encouraged!
