The Urban Forestry Subcommittee advises the City on urban forestry issues and activities related to:

• Urban tree canopy 
• Tree preservation
• Urban Forestry Management Plan
• Tree species for the City's approved street tree list
• Trees to be designated to the City's significant tree list
• Tree City USA
