Movies in the Park: Lilo & Stitch and How to Train Your Dragon

Gresham Parks and Recreation presents Movies in the Park, the perfect backdrop for a summer open-air cinema event with your family and friends. This year, enjoy a double feature each night: two different movies, with the first starting at 6:30pm and the second at 8:30pm.

Bring your cozy blankets and favorite movie snacks. Admission is free, so come early to secure your spot.

Lilo & Stitch (2025): 6:30pm

A live-action reimagining of Disney’s 2002 animated classic, “Lilo & Stitch” is the wildly funny and touching story of a lonely Hawaiian girl and the fugitive alien who helps to mend her broken family.

How to Train Your Dragon (2025): 8:30pm

On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup stands apart. The inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons, challenging the very foundations of Viking society.
