Budget Committee

About the committee

This committee consists of the Mayor, six Council members and the seven-member volunteer Finance Committee, who are citizens appointed by the City Council.

The Budget Committee has the legal authority to change any portion of the proposed budget and is responsible to pass the City's approved budget. Read more about the City's budget process.

The Budget Committee meets two or three times annually in April or May, via Zoom.

April 16, 2026 Budget Committee Meeting #1

A public meeting of the Gresham Budget Committee will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 6:00 pm, at which time the fiscal year 2026/27 budget document will be considered by the Budget Committee.
