Gradin Community Sports Park Phase 2
Gradin park improvements are complete. The sports fields will open spring 2026. Sports field reservations open in February.
Phase 2 improvements
Phase 2 included adding two new softball fields, two new soccer fields, and an amenity plaza to complete the vision of the sports park that began more than two decades ago. Paving the gravel parking lot and walking paths are complete.
New amenity plaza
More good news for Gradin – an Oregon State Parks grant funded an amenity plaza. The plaza will feature 10 new amenities:
- 8 pickleball courts
- 1 basketball court
- 1 volleyball court
- 2 permanent restrooms
- Picnic shelter
- New play areas
- Dog park, enclosed, small and large
- 300-plus trees
- 1,000-plus native shrubs
- Short-term food trucks
Building on Phase 1
Phase 1, completed in 2009, included the sports fields, paths and parking areas you see and use today. Read more about Gradin Sports Park.
