EMOPI
East Multnomah Outreach, Prevention and Intervention (EMOPI) serves at-risk youth.
Recreation

Rising Stars
Rising Stars awards K-12 youth for accomplishments in and out of the classroom.
Internships
Summer Works Program offers youth (16-24) paid summer internships July-August.
Ceasefire Program
The Ceasefire team connects at-risk individuals with the help they need.
Youth Advisory Council
The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) connects youth with City leadership and community.
Gresham Reads
The Gresham Reads program offers free books at Little Libraries located in Gresham parks.
Youth Services goals
- Protect young people and reduce the rise of youth and gun violence through prevention, outreach, and intervention.
- Invest in culturally specific community-based organizations to provide support services for youth and families, including positive recreational activities and social engagement opportunities.
Youth Services is part of the larger Safe Gresham community violence effort between City leadership, Gresham Police, and the community.
